Beşiktaş, the 2008/09 Super League Champions and the 2008/09 Turkish Cup Champions will take on the 2008/09 Super League 4th place finishers Fenerbahçe in the 'TFF Super Cup' clash on the 2nd of August 2009.
The Turkish Football Federation states that, if one team has earned both titles in the one season, they will take on the 'runners up' of the Turkish Cup. Which in this case is Fenerbahçe who had lost 4-2 to Beşiktaş in the finals.
The match will take place at İstanbul Atatürk Olimpiyat Stadium where the terraces will be split evenly amonst the fans.
